Midlands carpenters and joinery web design

Midlands Carpenters and Joiners came to Coderra seeking something quite unique – a highly optimised splash page which would drive traffic to the main website. Having undertaken various joinery web design projects before, we felt sure we could deliver exactly what the client was seeking.

First, a little about splash pages. Splash pages serve as an introduction – they can cover the entire screen, or they can cover a small section near the centre of the page. They’re intended to capture the attention of the user and direct them onwards to a site’s homepage. Splash pages can also be used to capture leads, with email address forms that can help with future marketing endeavours.

There were several criteria this splash page had to meet: it had to be fully responsive, to ensure it was accessible across all devices, and it had to be highly optimised for certain keywords, giving Penny & Eddowes lots of vital SEO juice. The client requested that we use contextual backlinks to the main website for maximum SEO impact. The page also had to be reminiscent of the Penny & Eddowes site, to create a sense of consistency and trust across the two.

We used Bootstrap (a free collection of tools for creating beautiful websites and web applications) to create a stylish, impactful splash landing page which would turn leads into conversions for the main firm. As requested, the new page is fully responsive and will look fantastic when viewed on every screen size, from small smartphones to large desktops. This project was also fairly unique in that it wasn’t built using WordPress or a recognisable CMS. It simply exists as a way for the company to increase leads and boost SEO.

The project is now complete and looks fantastic. For more information about our joinery web design services, contact our team today.
