Egerton Direct is an online shop for a Karcher dealer in Whitchurch. This Whitchurch ecommerce web design was built on WordPress using Woocommerce for the shop. The website is fully responsive to mobiles and ipads, and is linked to the Egerton Direct Twitter feed. The big emphasis on this Whitchurch ecommerce was to use the new Karcher colours to make the website branded towards the product they are selling. We setup the website and manually added all of their products as they didn’t have a digital product list to work from. As well as setting up all of the products we optimised all of the images for the web and created their slides for the revolving banner at the top of the page.
The Whitchurch ecommerce has a very clean web design, leaving layouts uncluttered and focused on the product. Egerton Direct decided that they wanted to tell people about their company on the home page rather than listing products, making it more like a traditional website that then leads into the online shop. However, like with any Woocommerce powered store, if they decide they would like to showcase popular products they can do so with shortcodes.
As well as developing the web site we also helped them with the design of their logo for the website, keeping it branded towards the Karcher colours. The logo itself stands out on the page and adds more impact to the website header.
This Whitchurch ecommerce web design is a great example of what can be achieved when using WordPress and Woocommerce together. They now have a content management system that they can use to blog, share news, add products and pages and manage their online presence with. As a CMS they are able to manage the site themselves without the need of a website designer.
