This month at Coderra, we turned our hand to creating a builders website for the team at Blue Pennant Builders. Having created websites for a multitude of different clients across a range of industries, we know that each client has their own range of criteria and specifications for the task – and Blue Pennant Builders were no different.

Blue Pennant Builders already had an established logo – one which exudes professionalism and was recognisable to their clients – so we had to build the website around the logo, taking into account the colour scheme and the serious, reliable tone that the logo strikes. We created a themed website that allows Blue Pennant to introduce themselves, showcase their services and even list some testimonials from their happiest clients.

The site is clean, clear and easy-to-navigate, with a simple navigation bar at the top of every page and carefully divided sections that improve readability. We also structured the site for SEO, as we do with many of our projects, ensuring that the team at Blue Pennant will have a fantastic foundation to build on if they ever decide to ramp up the focus on their SEO campaigns.

Many clients these days request that their sites are responsive, so that those using smartphones or tablet devices can access and navigate them just as easily. This was no problem for us, and the site looks fantastic, whichever screen or device you’re viewing it on.

Lastly, we touched up some of the images that were already on the Blue Pennant Builders website, to ensure they were suitably professional enough for a site of this calibre. Many of the shots were taken in client homes, and are used to showcase what the Blue Pennant team can do, so we wanted to make sure that they were shown in their very best light on every page of the site.
