Singstar UK is an exciting new singing competition which is set to invite the nation’s best soloists, duos, choirs, groups and other vocalists to compete for the opportunity to win recording contracts, £5,000 prize money and a range of other unique prizes. Coderra, the UK web design experts, were asked to design and implement a fantastic new website specifically for this new venture, with a range of complementary services to help the competition launch have a real impact.

Coderra built Singstar UK a full-width website with a theme. Stylish and impactful, the homepage is intended to convey the superstardom that awaits the winner of the contest! A range of other pages provide details on the terms and conditions of the competition, the prizes, how to enter and the age restrictions for each of the three categories. We were also tasked with creating the logo for this new venture, and we opted for something simple yet powerful, that would attract a number of potential entrants while still remaining in sync with the overall theme of the site and brand.

The client specified that we needed to create a form to submit entries, along with a PayPal payment option so that entrants could pay their £10 admin fees up front. We were also responsible for the selection of the right images for the site – and we think we did a great job, choosing atmospheric shots of talented singers having their moment in the spotlight.

Lastly, we helped Singstar UK out with their social media sharing, promoting their venture across a number of platforms and ensuring that they got as much exposure on social media channels as possible. We wish Singstar UK and all of its entrants the best of luck with the competition – and we hope to soon be offering up our UK web design services to some of the stars of tomorrow
