KB3 Training

KB3 Training is an online shop built for a client who sells Kettle Bell grips online. The client opted to use a standard Woocommerce theme from WooThemes because they felt the design worked well with minimal products. The home page is a ‘one pager’ displaying all the relevant information in the modern style. It integrates a big testimonial video, text testimonials and a link to the most recent blog posts. The design is clean, crisp and white. Most sections where bold colour is used, it is with buttons to make sure that the user clicks through further into the website.

The KB3 Training website is responsive to mobile and ipads. This is one of the benefits of using a standard Woocommerce theme. Many of them are responsive out of the box and need very little setup to get running. This particular theme also allows normal pages, and a blog. So while the client started with just a one page design they were able to expand easily. One of the nifty features we integrated into the website was a booking calendar so users could see when training sessions are available. This helps to promote the client’s personal trainer business. The shop and his profession partner together well and feed into each other.

We build bespoke websites as well as themed web designs. We work with the needs of our clients to find the best possible fit for their website project. In some cases a bespoke website is the best solution. Often this is for websites that want a more unique look or advanced functionality. However, with simple projects like this one, it is cheaper to use a theme – and with the right help, you can make sure you select the right one for your business. If you have an ecommerce project that requires attention, you should get in touch.
